Passing down of skills from one generation to the next has long been a tradition for many families. Somewhere along the line, this has been lost. Kids are being raised without being taught how to fix a car, home repair and general other skills of life such as cooking from scratch, gardening and pressure canning. The biggest thing we can do to ensure self reliance for the future is passing on as much knowledge as possible to as many people aa possible while we still have time to do so
