Federal Skilled Trade Program is one of the category of Express Entry. This program requires minimum eligibility criteria for instance, there is no formal education and ECA required and minimum IELTS is required. This is also a score based program like other Express Entry Program. There is CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score in place, one needs to compete.
Although the requirements are minimum but to quality for FSTP (Federal Skilled Trades Program) one needs to have a certificate of qualification CoQ from any of the Province.
There are only a few NOC Codes which you can apply and most of them are from category B. In this video, I have enlist all the NOC codes which if you have to you can apply. I have also shown the screen shots of the websites of all the Provinces where you can approach and apply for Certificate of Qualification.
This is program is not in the limelight or not that much famous because it required the attainment of Certificate of Qualification and you can only get that while you are in Canada. From outside Canada, you cannot seek that certificate. So, if you are in Canada on Visit visa, Study permit or work permit you can qualify for this certificate.
There are only 2 draws of FSTP in a year but good thing about this program is, the requires you have very less CRS even one should be hopeful me get ITA means to get selected in you CRS is even 350.
