Med School Graduation Speech 2017. My graduating senior class of medical students at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) selected me to speak at their 2017 Honors Convocation ceremony on May 19, 2017. I was delighted and honored to celebrate with them the end of medical school and the beginning of their careers as physicians. I shared my thoughts on how to find a meaningful and worthwhile career in medicine. I'm so proud of you, Class of 2017. You are going to be amazing doctors. May you find happiness and satisfaction in your work. And may you always heal the sick, wherever your paths take you.
