A couple weeks ago one of you guys asked me as part of an AMA to talk about every job and salary I've had to date, so no gatekeeping and sharing it for every corporate role I've had to date! ✨

If there’s one key takeaway from this video, it’s to always be open to opportunities and never get too comfortable in a role. The times when I changed industries, moved teams, or said yes to opportunities that lowkey scared me, all of these moments led to growth, both professionally and also opened doors to negotiate higher salaries.

It’s a reminder to believe in yourself, even when things feel uncertain, because the biggest leaps often happen outside your comfort zone!

Ps. I didn’t talk about it in this video as I wanted it to be corporate focused, but my first ever job was at Maccas when I was 14 🤭. I also worked at a café for a little while and at an optometry place during my uni days. Most of these were casual roles, but they were the jobs that built my work ethic early on. One thing I really wish I knew about back then was investing, but it’s never too late! I started when I was about 26-27, so around 4-5 years ago 🫶🏻.

Anyways, I’m curious, who else worked in fast food or retail as a teenager? 👀

Lastly, I’d love to know, what’s one thing you’ve done (or learned) that’s helped you level up in your career or income?

[Salaries mentioned in this video include superannuation, which is Australia’s form of retirement fund system 💰]
