The first day of school brought a first for students in Williamson County.
Williamson County Schools officially opened its new Innovation Center on Monday, August 10, giving high school students a new place to get hands-on experience in careers ranging from aviation to cybersecurity.
The approximately 26,000-square-foot facility is located near Franklin High School and the district's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center.
While the center is located in Franklin, it is designed to serve high school students from across Williamson County Schools.
