Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs combine strong academics with technical skills and real-world experiences to give students a competitive advantage for college and career success. February is CTE month, a national public awareness campaign to promote the value of these programs. MCPS has 51 career readiness programs within 12 career clusters. These innovative programs align with the changing economy and combine postsecondary education and training to play a vital role in preparing students for the changing workforce.
