I had a pretty good idea of how my career would unfold in medicine because there is a defined path you need to follow to complete your training and practice. When I decided I wanted to work in digital health technology, I had no idea where to turn and how to do it. It was an unconventional career path to take as a doctor, and I had to figure out a way to pave my own path, which was challenging and risky!
