For nearly 20 years, Dr. Thomas Stallworth II worked as a strength and conditioning coach for numerous football teams at the college and professional levels. However, after being passed up for a head coaching position, he decided it was time to pursue a doctoral degree to achieve the pinnacle of his education and become a leader in his field. When seeking an online degree program with a flexible format that would allow him to maintain his busy schedule while also providing the chance to spend quality time with his family, Thomas discovered the University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC). At UAGC, Thomas not only found a program that suited his lifestyle, but he also benefited from supportive advisors and faculty, as well as comprehensive courses that allowed him to put the knowledge he gained to use immediately. In 2021, Thomas earned a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) with a specialization in sport and performance psychology from UAGC. Today, he is the head strength and conditioning coach for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons football team, and Thomas is considered an authority in his niche field.
