The government is ramping up efforts to ensure Singaporeans continue to learn throughout life. The Education Ministry is launching a new programme to provide training support for Singaporeans and match them to employers. The new SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme will provide Singaporeans access to industry-related courses, along with attachments and projects in sectors with good hiring opportunities. The programme will replace SGUnited Skills and SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways-Company Training.
It would replace two existing schemes that will expire in March 2022.
