This program will prepare students interested in pursuing a career in graphic and/or web design through multimedia-related fields. Students will be challenged to learn the principles of graphic design, line, shape, pattern, form, and color theory. Typography along with digital Pre-Press and Copyright laws will be taught to ensure student success. Students will use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to manipulate images in unique and creative formats to develop commercial art-related specification sheets (or specs.) for assignments, social media applications, and client-based projects.
