You might triage a patient. Or style hair. Or build a house. Maybe you will rappel from the top of a fire tower. Or give a radio broadcast. Or fly a plane. In every EVIT program, you will develop skills by doing the job.
EVIT programs are tuition-free to high school students who live in 11 East Valley school districts – Mesa, Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Tempe, Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Higley, Queen Creek, Cave Creek, and J.O. Combs. These students, including charter school and home-schooled students, spend half their day at EVIT for career training and the other half at their sending high school or home school for academics.
EVIT also offers classes for adults in the Phoenix area, allowing them to benefit from quality education with low tuition rates and a variety of financial aid and interest-free payment options. And, EVIT funds satellite career and technical education programs in East Valley high schools.
