Future-Ready Pathways: From Classroom to Career with the Academy of Healthcare Innovation (AHI)
Today’s workforce webinar presentation is part of our Hawai‘i Worker Equity Lab, a collaborative space for sharing ideas and solutions. This session highlights the incredible work our stakeholders are doing across industries to strengthen and expand workforce opportunities in all sectors.
Mahalo to our awesome presenters Bridget Lai and Jan Boivin for sharing their time with us:
Jan — is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness at Hawai‘i Pacific Health, where she oversees the human resources, clinical education, and workforce development needs of approximately 8,000 employees at four medical centers, over 70 clinics, and other centers throughout Hawai‘i.
Bridget — is the Executive Director for the Academy for Healthcare Innovation where she oversees certificate training programs for allied health roles in healthcare. These programs allow students to gain the skills and credentials to advance in their current healthcare role or pursue new opportunities.
In this session we’ll learn more about how the Academy for Healthcare Innovation (AHI) is opening fast, affordable pathways into Hawai‘i’s healthcare careers—helping local residents gain skills, earn credentials, and step into living-wage jobs in as little as 8 to 40 weeks.
