SHOW NOTES //
Negotiating is *scary*. I won't argue with you there. It's also a little awkward. That's normal.

At the same time, it's also really important & completely expected in American work culture.

In this video, I:

~Calm any fears or anxieties you have about negotiating.

~Explain why it's so important to negotiate early & often.

~Offer specific techniques, tools, and scripts.

~Talk about common mistakes people make when going into negotiations (and how you can avoid them).

Whether you're a fresh college or high school graduate looking to land your first job, or a senior executive who's been in the workforce for decadesโ€”this video is for you. I not only cover practical negotiation advice but also work to give you the confidence you need to have that somewhat awkward and uncomfortable conversation. Negotiating your salary is normal, expected, and important. Don't lose out on this "investment" just because you're afraid of the company. They're expecting you to negotiate, so go for it!
