LAGOS HOLDS 2025 CAREER COUNSELLING/EXHIBITION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, on Tuesday, convened JSS 3 and SS 1 students from all six education districts at the State Education Resource Center, Ojodu‑Ikeja, for a career counselling and exhibition. The programme aimed to assist students in self‑assessment and self‑discovery, exposing them to today’s world of work. It provided rich information on career options, technological advancements, and decision‑making skills. Held in two sessions, the event featured motivational talks and a plenary with quintessential speakers and mentors who have excelled in diverse formal and informal career fields. Students were reminded that learning extends beyond the four walls of classrooms and were encouraged to seize technology‑driven opportunities and align with peers of similar values. The flawless delivery made the event a memorable experience for all. This initiative aligns with Lagos State Government’s commitment to quality education, equipping learners with the skills needed for successful careers.
